Tara Shanley

As former Newsela principal curriculum designer, Tara Shanley oversaw the content and curriculum strategy for Newsela ELA. She also developed ELA curriculum for K-12 edtech products for over eight years. She was a former high school English teacher and a lifelong lover of literature, poetry, and writing.
