Christine Scoppa

Christine has over two decades of educator experience, teaching 6th and 8th grade ELA and literacy labs in Fairport, New York. She became a Newsela Certified Educator (NCE) in 2016 and later completed advanced credentials as a Teacher Trainer and Resource Writer. She was also a member of the first cohort of Newsela Fellows in 2019-2020.
